On 28th August 2022, the Unicef Campus Knowledge Initiative And Open Mic was organized by GCLS organized as a part of UNICEF and Yuvaa’s socially conscious initiative to speak and listen to ‘Gen-Z’ about mental health, gender, digital literacy, and a host of other things concerning the Gen-Z. Accordingly, it covered various themes such as mental health, digital literacy, child labour, gender sensitization, etc. In addition, a storytelling open-mic session was organized where students were allowed to share their stories, thoughts, and opinions on the issues discussed, including but not limited to, mental health, gender identity, etc.

Additionally, students were invited to become campus ambassadors for GNLU, enabling them to play an active role in spreading awareness about important social issues. As part of this internship/mentorship programme, GCLS, in collaboration with Yuvaa, came up with a newsletter consisting of stories ranging from personal encounters to professional experiences.
