Cyber Security And Challenges Under Cyber Space With Special Reference To Women Users In The State Of Gujarat
The Centre received a fund of Rs. 14,41,000/- in order to carry out a study whose primary objective was to assess the knowledge, awareness and attitude of women internet users with regards to cyber-crimes and to check the effectiveness of the current legal framework for safety of women in the cyber space.

EURO – Expert Project In Collaboration With The University Paris Nanterre
The EURO-EXPERT Project, headed by Prof. Livia Holden, is a research project that looks at use of cultural arguments in connection with rights, more broadly considered as including all kinds of minorities, indigenous people, and cultural heritage in a great variety of cases ranging from criminal law to civil law.

GNLU-CHRI Legal Aid To Persons With Police Custody Project
The Centre in collaboration with Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI) is creating an e-repository to document the mechanisms for providing legal aid for persons in police custody (LAPPC) on paper– in the form of frameworks / rules / procedures.

Integrating Gender Equality In Disaster Risk Reduction: Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction In The Context Of COVID-19 And the Climate Crisis
The Centre has proposed two events to the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) Asia as part of the Strategic Collaborative Fund Phase 2 (SCF2) programme, launched by SEI Asia, with support from the Swedish government (SIDA).

Legal Challenges Faced By The Startups
In collaboration with We Innovate, a policy foundation headed by Advocate Aaditya Bhatt of the Gujarat High Court. This research project focuses on the legal issues and compliances encountered by startups, including tax & GST compliances, contracts to be entered into, and business structure' specific compliances.

Promoting Entrepreneurship Within Agricultural Systems And Value Chains: Developing Climate-Resilient Practices To Promote Inclusivity And Sustainability

Research Collaboration with Internet Freedom Foundation
GNLU Centre for Law and Society (GCLS) collaborated with The Internet Freedom Foundation (IFF), an Indian digital liberties organization, ensuring that technology respects fundamental rights and that Indian citizens can use the Internet with liberties guaranteed by the Constitution.
